Introduction
25 years ago, as a young father, I dropped this gauntlet, “You, my children, must do twice what I do and become twice what I am.” I believe that success as a father means producing a new ‘double portion’ generation and my kids are convinced that they can and should be doubly successful.

But with that, I drop another gauntlet, “You will never surpass my passion for life and ministry.” And because I hope they can be more passionate than me, as well as more fruitful, this challenge remains on the family table. The one thing that will make a man or a woman unstoppable against impossible odds is a consuming passion after a godly purpose.

All my life, and especially in the ministry, I’ve heard, “You can’t do that!”  But think about it for a minute – this is exactly the reason why ‘that’ remains undone. How did so many people become so convinced that they were born to lose? Worse yet they try to convince you and I that we too were born to lose. History has proven that once I accomplish a thing, anybody can, so I will. What makes us part of this brash minority who turn life upside up?

The ‘can’t be done’ crowd will call you arrogant. The religious crowd will call you deceived. The apathetic crowd will call you fanatic and you’ll find yourself far too alone in the very things you need help with – until you go on to perfection and exemplify a life that others want to follow.

The radical revelation found in this book has launched many leaders into fruitful ministry. Through extraordinary challenges they’ve smashed through the barriers and taken abundant life by force. This revelation promises to do the same for you. God has destined ordinary people like you and I for great exploits.
“Therefore, leaving the discussion of the elementary principles of Christ, let us go on to perfection.” (Hebrews 6:1)
